Aspidistra Drawing Room Orchestra News Letter
Dear Friends,
It’s that time of year again. The Aspidistra Drawing Room Orchestra has booked the lower gallery at Lauderdale House for another Bank Holiday Afternoon Concert on Monday 29th of May at 2:30 pm. It would be wonderful to see you. Tickets are available from the website and can be paid for online with Paypal or with a card. To avoid confusion, we no longer routinely operate a telephone ticket line. However, for ‘regulars’ without internet access, we can take a telephone reservation on 020 7633 9313. You would need to post us a cheque, made out to the Aspidistra Drawing Room Orchestra. Our postal address is: 49 Bankside, London SE1 9JE.
Aspidistra Concert in Wales
The date and time of our concert in Wales had to been changed to avoid a clash with another local event. Our hosts moved the concert to Sunday 21st of May at 3:00pm at St Thomas’s Church, Dogmaels. St Thomas’s Church is in the grounds of the historic abbey ruins in Dogmaels (not far from Cardigan), SA43 3EB. The programme will be very similar to that of our concert in London the following week but we might indulge to play a few of our favourites from years gone by.
