Bank Holiday Afternoon Concert

Same venue but new material. This is an annual event which attracts all our 'regulars'. Burgh House has a charming , although rather small, music-room. It fills up quick so it is best to buy your tickets in advance.

The venue is a 5 minute walk from Hampstead tube station and a short walk from Hampstead Heath.

Teas and meals are served in the buttery in the basement below the music-room; so our concert can easily be combined with afternoon tea and a stroll on the Heath, making this a perfect Bank Holiday outing, catering for all the senses.

  • Programme to include:
  • Stringing Along - Eddie Tower
  • The Bugatti Step -Jaroslav JeΕΎek
  • Eventide -William Myddleton
  • The Ragtime Bassplayer -Adolf Lotter
  • Drifting and Dreaming -Egbert van Alstyne
  • The Syncopated Clock -Leroy Anderson
  • Lucy Long Variations - Fred Godfrey
  • When Budapest was Young -André Milos
